There’s a certain crispness in the air, a gentle nudge to remind me of things to come over autumn and winter.

Weekly photo challenge: Inside
I never got to see Quills and Kate but the first two photographs were taken in their (a pair of Porcupines) enclosure at Curragh’s Wildlife Park.
“An unusual point of view” is this week’s photo challenge

Weekly photo challenge: Sea
This week’s photo challenge is Sea. The sea is so many things to me.
It’s a great healer.
It’s wild.
It’s a source of life.
But the sea is also cruel and devastating. The wreck of the scallop dredger, the Solway Harvester now moored in Douglas Harbour is a sad reminder of the seven Scottish fisherman who lost their lives at sea in January 2000.
It’s a permanent mirror to the sky.
It’s versatile and can be fun.
I just know, close to the sea, that’s where I’ll be!

Weekly photo challenge: One shot, two ways
Billie don’t be a hero! This is one of the young mountain goats that I saw grazing on the hillside in Laxey yesterday evening.
