I took this photograph earlier this year in Sharm El Sheik. I think this is a landslide issue.We have the same problem on the Laxey headland where a property owner’s shed slid into a lovely beach side house. The beach house is now abandoned too and there’s a ban on developing on the headland.
there’s certainly a lot of landslip problems occurring around our coastline nowadays. There are a lot of houses which are unsaleable as they’re about to head off down a cliff anytime!
This is a fascinating photo-you have the destruction of the building, and the ruins of another and then a colorful balloon to the side-a lot of interesting contrasts here-nice work!
Hope that wasn’t the last couple of years during all this trouble! I went to Egypt years ago and liked it but I’m glad I went when I did…
