I visited MOSI (The museum of Science and Industry) in Manchester this week. Really interesting and innovative exhibitions so it’s really worth a visit if you’re ever in that neck of the woods – plus entry is free. I’m sure I’ll post some photographs on this in the future but one of the most lasting memories of the visit will be the stunning shards of light beaming and bouncing around the museum.

Weekly photo challenge: Unexpected
Unexpectedly, sort of cute.
Emus in the Australian Outback at Curragh’s Wildlife Park.
Normally, I run the gauntlet through this section of the park as the emus roaming free can be intimidating but on this day, they seemed quite chilled.

Weekly photo challenge: Good morning
My mornings often start with an early walk with my camera and last weekend some dew laden foliage caught my eye so I stopped to take some photographs. I nearly jumped out of my skin as I spotted some strange creatures on the leaves. I’ve never seen or heard of them before – they’re Green Shield Bugs.
Sorry, don’t have nightmares – I’m sure they’re harmless!
