JackieI meant no disrespect when I asked about the Live Oak, I don’t know where are you located, here is some info:The name Live Oak comes from the fact that evergreen oaks remain green and “live” throughout winter, when other oaks are dormant, leafless and “dead”-looking. The name is used mainly in North America, where evergreen oaks are widespread in warmer areas, along the Atlantic coast from southeast Virginia and North Carolina to Florida, west along the Gulf Coast to Texas and Louisiana and across the southwest to California and southwest Oregon. 🙂
None taken 🙂
Oops, I didn’t realise it was a name of an Oak. In my nature book it only had English, Sessile, Holm, Turkey, Cork and Red Oaks. Thanks for the information. I’m on a little island, Isle of Man, in the Irish Sea between Ireland and England.

Thank you Jackie, you’re the first person that I’ve met from Isle of Man! Of course is my pleasure! 🙂
Is that a Live Oak? 🙂
Yes, it’s a live one. Lots of leaves but out of shot.

Enchanting.
Thanks Elena
Like fingers reaching down to pluck the bluebells from the ground. As Elena put it, enchanting.
Thank you
