For eeriness I like the first one best – it helps that it’s a churchyard – always makes people more spooked somehow. I find churchyards pretty peaceful myself though and quite often stroll around ours in the dark for the total peace there πŸ™‚

Thanks Carol.I like the peacefulness too but I draw the line at strolling around them in the dark. Me chicken, you fearless! In fact last weekend whilst taking the second photograph, I got to the gates of the old churchyard, the dark clouds above made it very creepy and I turned around instead of wandering around the ancient grounds.

I think just about the only true Dalesfolk left in our village our those buried in the churchyard now so, even if they sit up suddenly, we’ll have something to moan about together! πŸ˜‰

The Isle of Man not far away from the place I live for the time being (L’pool) just half across the Irish Sea… πŸ™‚

    Very well captured – cool atmosphere… πŸ™‚

      Thank you

Enjoy your time in Liverpool. I think it’s a great place and the people have a brilliant sense of humour. I’m not supposed to say that as I’m a Mancunian!
