Ug is almost 1 year old now. I took the first photographs last May when he was a few weeks old. Tina at Curraghs Wildlife Park named him Ug when he was little for obvious reasons. He was all beak and claws. Well look at him today – a handsome Bespectacled Owl!
That’s amazing – he’s come such a long way! Beautiful bird!
Thanks, he is beautiful (now)!
Very nice!
Thanks Barbara
Totally beautiful. Owls are such amazing creatures.
Thank you
Never seen a bespectacled owl – lovely bird – are they native to the UK? or just the Isle of Man? or a total incomer?
They’re native to Central and south America. Ug is lovely and Tina told me that another egg has been laid so there may be another chick this year.
LOVE Ug, such a beauty. And thanks for visiting my blog. I really enjoy your pictures. Makes me miss the snow!
Thank you. I also enjoy your photographs and look forward to following your posts. Jackie
