We don’t get what I call real snow very often. I took these photographs in Laxey in January 2010 when the whole island was covered in snow and it ground the island to a halt. Even though we sometimes know it’s coming, we’re never geared up to deal with it on this little island! Everything was beautiful for a few hours and it was very weird to see snow on the beach.
It’s become very cold here this week and I’m hoping that one day soon, I’ll wake up to a blanket of snow on the promenade again.
Stunning
