Picture this, a day in December…

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I haven’t been posting on this site as much lately but I do hope to be back out taking new photos and posting on here more frequently.

I’ve just started dipping my toe into Instagram. Let me know your Instagram handles as I’m looking for some new sites to follow.

February Laxey sunrise sequence

Yesterday’s sunrise was unusual as it started with ugly little black clouds that absorbed the redness of the sun.  Once the sun had started to rise, the fire cooled down and the sky became cool and subdued. Half moon still out and visible and greater visibility than on an average day as I could see the Cumbrian hills on the UK mainland (my true home land). It all lasted about an hour finishing with a colourless sky in the final photographs. Click on the gallery and join me as I walk along the beach!
