I was on Laxey beach in early June practising panning with different shutter speeds. At the time I was planning to take some photographs at the TT motorbike races and I needed to practice on some moving objects beforehand, so this surfer turned up at the right time.
Let the great wheel spin

It’s a raft that gets put out during the summer season for the beach visitors to play on. Sad to see it got taken in this week as it signals the end of summer. Maybe it’s just an Isle of Man quirk!
