My whistle stop visit to Rome.
I’ve scheduled in a few weekly posts from my recent trip to Europe. Next week’s post is the stunning Amalfi Coast.

My recent trip to the beautiful green island of Corsica. I had a problem with my camera so here are a couple of photos from my phone.
Next week’s post is ‘Rome’.
It was a cracking view from the Roman Theatre in Segesta a couple of weeks ago. It was a shame I couldn’t stay long enough for the Calatafimi Segesta Festival that is currently running. Maybe next time.
The Roman Temple
One of the many plantations in the Isle of man. Most of these views could be seen from the Parkrun route – the 5 week temporary route of the Nobles Parkrun whilst the TT festival was underway. The first day back in May was so lovely, I walked the 5K route after the run to take some photos. The Parkrun is now back at its home at Nobles Park in Douglas, close to the Grandstand. I’ll be honest, the weather wasn’t this good for all of those 5 Parkruns but the views can look stunning in the rain too.
Earlier today around Lonan and Laxey. You have to feel sorry for the TT visitors having to put up with the Manx bad weather this week. Even the ducks look fed up. Fingers crossed it’s starting to brighten up.
If we get a good Senior Race day on Friday. I may consider watching the racing and taking some photos.
