You’ve done well capturing those – they’re pretty quick and elusive birds aren’t they. Funnily enough, the first time I’ve ever seen one not flapping madly above me in the sky was last week walking in the Lakes – one landed in front of us and kept hopping just in front of us for quite a while.

Thanks Carol. This skylark and possibly its partner stayed in this area too so we think there may have been a nest close by.
