I thought those kids were all stood in the boat watching the Red Arrows! Superb photos. Didn’t know you ever got airshows/fly-bys on the Isle of Man. I used to travel around to a lot of airshows when they had things like RAF Finningley locally – now they’ve closed all those stations down ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Thanks Carol. The Red Arrows normally do a couple of fly-bys during TT week over Ramsey and Douglas officially but we get a little peek in Laxey too. I used to go to airshows too when I was a kid, great fun.

Never seen or heard of the Red Arrows, must be your equivalent to the US Navy’s Blue Angels, US Air Force’s Thunderbirds and Canadian Snowbirds. Although with 9 jets, it looks like the largest of these type of exhibition squads. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Yes, it’s the Royal Airforce Aerobatic Team. They were grounded in 2011 due to an accident so I’m glad to see them back in the air.
      Thanks for visiting.
