      Hhmmm, it seems I may have inadvertently darkened this photograph too much and it now appears false! Oops sorry, it’s never my intention. I’m not that familiar with this bird so I didn’t spot this. I now have a new challenge to get some “more natural” material of this bird. I know just the tree that is often full of these at Ballannette. Thanks for pointing this out Carol, I really appreciate it.

    I’ll have a good study of my bluetits when they start appearing on my feeder (haven’t seen any yet this year) and see how blue ours are. I wouldn’t be surprised if yours were slightly different over there.
