The Ayres is a stretch of remote, bleak coastline with sand dunes mixed with coarse grass, located at the most northern part of the Isle of Man. My last visit was in September when I spotted quite a few Sanderlings and Ringed Plover.

I hope one day to photograph the Northern Lights from The Ayres as they can be seen from this location on very rare occasions. I live in hope!
