I took these photographs last Sunday whilst the RNLI lifeboat crew were in Laxey Bay on a training session as they often do on a Sunday. It made me realise how fragile they are, bobbing around like a cork in a stormy sea.

I can imagine how stormy it was – it’s certainly been windy the last couple of weeks hasn’t it? I’m hoping for a bit of ‘proper August’ before the month finishes!

It was rough last week Carol but nothing like the storms we had last winter.
and it looks so cold too like the seas around Vancouver Island where I live!!
It wasn’t actually very cold that day but I suppose we have very low standards on the heat scale.
