   Lovely shot Jackie. It almost looks like the sparrow is lit up with a spotlight.
   (Nice DOF too).

      The sparrow moved on when a rogue wave splashed the shoreline and it got a soaking.

   You’re good at getting these wildlife shots – by the time I get sorted out, they’ve always gone!

      Thanks Carol, I think it’s just that I’ve always got my camera with me and I’m always out walking if I get the chance.
